An indominable player on the junior squash circuit, it was no surprise to
anyone that Chris earn a spot on the elite squad of eight US players who
will compete in New Zealand. Chris finished his sophomore year at the
William Penn Charter school where he played the number 1 position and
led his team to its first Inter-Ac Championship in years denying squash
powerhouses CHA, Episcopal and Haverford the title in one of the toughest
boy's high school conferences in the nation. He also led his team to the
finals in the National High School championships and was named as a MASA
and Inter-Ac first team players.
Chris began playing squash at CHA with Bryan Patterson, and continued to
refine his game while he trained in Germantown Cricket Club's exceptional
junior program under Doug Whittaker and his assistants Ashley Read and Adam
Hammil. His game soared as he trained at GCC with sparring partners Matt
Dominick [BU17 Champ 2006], Alex Dominick [ranked #1 BU17s 2006], Adam
Greenber g [ranked #20 BU19] and Steve Harrington [ranked #10 BU17] who
formed a part of an incredible WPC high school team. Chris finished the
season ranked #4 in the BU19, and has also competed in the BU23s where he
is currently ranked at an impressive 11th position.
