Favotite Athlete: I don't follow pro sports so I don't really have an intelligent answer for this one.
On the game: Squash has given me so much in the way of traveling, friends, oppotunity to compete, and motivation to work harder on and off the court.
Thank you:Thanks to my dad, who taught me how to play. Also thanks to Meredeth and Shabana for their coaching and the opportunity to play on the squad, as well as any of the coaches I have had at the squads weekends throughout the years. Thanks to the members of Newport Squash and my squash girls at SG for supporting me!
Personal Bio: My dad has been playing squash in Newport for years, and when I was little he used to take me and my sister to the courts to try to teach us how to play every so often. When I was about eleven years old I wanted to start really practicing and playing tournaments. I remember going to Greenwich for my first tournament and getting bagelled by Caroline Reigeluth, who at that time had no idea who I was. The next year was a little more successful and I got to go to my first squads. When high school started I started having Saturday classes and I couldn‚t do as many tournaments, but getting to be part of the squash team at St. George‚s made up for it. The summer after 9th grade I went to New Zealand with the Devoys, which was amazing. Last summer I toured Santiago, Amsterdam, and Cologne with Brian Patterson‚s camp. This summer I am very excited to be joining the squad for the Pioneer and the Dutch.
