Other Tidbits

Hobbies/Interest: Music, running, snowboarding, travel, friends, sleeping.

Favotite Athlete:Ruben ‘Hurricane’ Carter – because his life story is simply one of the most inspirational stories in the history of athletes.

On the game: I’ve been playing squash since I was about 11 and it has taught me a lot about commitment. If you don’t work hard, you don’t get good results.  This wasn’t difficult to figure out, and it applies to all aspects of life.  I keep playing because there’s no feeling better than that of achievement and success due to hard work and focus.

Thank you:
Dad – For struggling through all of the tiebreak games, for sticking with me through the ups and downs of my game,  for the long weekends, and for always telling me that the sun will rise tomorrow.
Mom – For always cheering me on, even if you weren’t in the crowd.
E – For adding humor even when it wasn’t desired.
Bill Lane – For sticking with me and believing that I have potential, even though at times my performance may not have shown it.
Peter Becker – For being one of the most inspirational coaches I’ve ever had, and making me ‘want it’ more than I have in a long time.  Oh, and for ‘the clap’.
